Sacred City of Nikko
Frank Lloyd Wright designed this train station in Nikko. It follows along the lines of his Prairie-style houses in Oak Park, Illinois.
Nikko is known as an incredibly beautiful tourist destination. A Japanese proverb says, "Never say Kekko (content), until you've seen Nikko" because harmony abounds between the natural beauty and the impresive man-made splendors.
The Shinkyo (Sacred) Bridge in Nikko. Legend has it that the man who settled Nikko was carried across the river here by two serpents. In feudal times, the sacred bridge could be used only by the emperor.
We visited a four-season Japanese garden outside the Toshogu shrine. I'm sure it's even prettier during fall and spring, but it was lovely during winter too.

Oh how neat, I love all that asian architecture and detail. And I love all the plants and trees that give it such an amazing touch. Great pics you guys!
