Mom's Visit - Trip to Lake Forest College

I was a visiting professor of French this semester at Lake Forest College (about 20 miles north of where I live in Evanston). It's a small private liberal arts college in the wealthiest township in Illinois.
This is the building where my office and the Modern Languages department is. (You can tell that my mom took the picture because it doesn't really show anything.... ;-)

The library.... Can you believe this was taken in May?!?! It still looks like winter!

The other building where I taught my literature class. I think it's referred to as the "castle".

Those flowers were gorgeous! I like your mom's short blond hair. I don't know if she's had it like that for a while, but I haven't seen her in a long time. That's cool that you were a visiting professor. What do you do normally for your career? Or are you a professor?!

Hi Morgan. I'm not used to my mom's blondish hair either! I'll tell her that you like it. Yes, I'm finishing my doctorate this fall at Northwestern University, and I hope to get a position teaching French and literature at a university or college. I'm really looking forward to being done with school! It's taken forever!!!
